On this day 01 June superpowers summit meeting in Washington. Where by U.S.A President George H.W. Bush and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev signed a historic agreement to end up production of chemical weapons and begin the destruction of both nations’ sizable reserves.

On this day 01 June Vietnam Veterans group announces to support U.S.A president Nixon
In support of the Nixon Administration’s conduct concerning about the war, this group known as the Vietnam Veterans. for a Just Peace declares that it represents the majority of the U.S. veterans that had served in Southeast Asia.

On 01 June Germans launch attack over British lines in Ypres Salient
On the first day of June 1916, German and British naval forces clash in the North Sea during the Battle of Jutland and the French resist the persistent German siege at Verdun, German troops launch a major attack on British lines in the Ypres Salient on the Western Front.
